The RTL8325D are Layer 2 25-port 10/100M switch controllers that integrate twenty-four MACs, one GbE MAC and 16 physical layer transceivers for 100Base-TX and 10Base-T operation.
The RTL8325D supports one XSMII (Reduced Serial eight Media Independent Interface), which can be connected to an Octal PHY RTL8208D to provide a convenient solution for a 24-port Fast Ethernet switch. The 25th MAC(Giga MAC) of the RTL8325D can be connected to an external device via an interface that supports GMII, RGMIII, TMII and MII.
